What I Wore: January 27th, 2012
Amid all the work, somehow I made time to go out and have some drinks last night. Which turned into happy hour, then sushi, then more drinks, then dancing. Luckily, my outfit was comfortable and versatile, especially with the blazer I had tucked inside my bag. My hair’s in my face, but there’s nothing I can do about that now, ya know?
Ensemble:
- Embellished dress-turned-frayed crop top from Forever 21 (I did the handiwork this week when I was scissor-happy this week)
- Layered gold necklace
- Dark-wash J. Brand Juliette jean: a stretchy, high-waisted, bellbottom wonder (oh! and über lengthy—even past heels--which as a 5’9” female, I enjoy)
- Giles & Brother railroad spike cuff
- Black gold-studded belt from J. Crew
- Black and white cropped BCBGMAXAZRIA blazer (not pictured)
- Tan heeled suede booties, complete with homemade dirtying via assorted bars and mud patches
