Add in a Bullett, L’Officiel, and a Harper’s Bazaar every so often and this stack is eerily accurate.

Vogue’s numbers are up this quarter, crushing every other magazine’s sales.
This quarter came as quite a shock to analysts and readers alike; Vogue was the only fashion magazine this quarter to be in the black, according to Women’s Wear Daily. All other competitors fell 10-12% in the last quarter—with Marie Claire taking the biggest dive, falling 21.5%— but Anna Wintour came out on top with a 12.7% increase in sales. WWD also states that a striking parallel has been drawn as well with magazine sales and advertising sales, with a 8% upswing on Vogue’s behalf.
Though Vogue hasn’t sold as much on the newsstand as other fashion-related mags have (InStyle trounces their numbers by over 200,000 copies each month), it makes up for those with stellar readership and subscriptions, and will continue to do this for the foreseeable future. Go, Anna, go.
